About
My name is Bart Westgeest, and I write on this blog to share my enthusiasm, thoughts and findings about my Linux operating system and the software I use or consider using. Since I am a non-technical user I have a focus on software that works out-of-the-box.
I am a middle aged Dutchman living in Denmark with my Brazilian wife.
In the 80ties I started with the Commodore 64, playing and making simple programs in BASIC.
I have yet to finish them.
Luckily I discovered Linux in 2008, started off with Ubuntu, run Fedora for a while, switched to Linux Mint 11 and I am now using Linux Mint 12 with the Cinnamon desktop.
Writing is my other passion, and I have been writing on my various blogs since 2006.
You can get in contact by using the contact-page, or by writing me a mail at livrelux.com (that is actually a email address I wrote down there).
